The Rankin Foundation making an impact in Montana.
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation is a national organization that is significantly expanding its impact in Rankin’s home state of Montana. Founded with a bequest from Rankin’s estate in 1976, the Rankin Foundation provides unrestricted Scholar Grants directly to nontraditional women students who are 25 and older in Montana and 35 and older nationwide.
Currently, 41 Rankin Scholars in Montana are working to achieve their first vocational certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree at the seven Montana Tribal Colleges and across the Montana University System. With limited means and unlimited potential, they are changing the trajectory of their lives and their families.
