Marnagee is the Development Intern for the Spring 2021 semester. She graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Public Affairs certificate. Marnagee is currently in UGA’s Master of Public Administration program and is expected to graduate in May 2022. Her master’s degree prepares students for careers in public service, including management and policy analysis in government and nonprofit organizations. Marnagee has been engaged with the public and nonprofit sector throughout her career, previously interning for the Atlanta History Center, Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Representative Spencer Frye.
What drew Marnagee to JRF was the foundation’s dedication to women’s rights and higher education. She looks forward to helping Scholars achieve their goals and fulfill their educational dreams. In her free time Marnagee enjoys practicing yoga at Shakti in Athens and visiting state parks in Georgia. After graduating from her Master’s program she hopes to move to Atlanta or D.C to work in public policy.
