Volunteer profile

Meet Libby Pollock

Libby Pollock has been a dedicated volunteer with Rankin Foundation for more than eight years. During which she has served as a volunteer application reader, a member of the STAR Party committee and a member of the board of directors, recently serving as the Rankin Foundation board chair.

“I’ve had the opportunity to meet many Rankin Scholars, and their success stories are an inspiration to me. With a Rankin Foundation Scholar Grant, these women have been able to achieve their dreams of graduating from college, and in turn, they change not only the trajectory of their lives, but they change their families and their communities.” – Libby

Become a volunteer application reader

Our volunteer application readers enable us to review hundreds of grant applications each year. Volunteers from around the country participate in the online evaluation process. Without their help, we could not do the work we do.

What’s Involved?
  • Attend a required, hour-long online training webinar in early March and take a short assessment to ensure you understand the process.
  • Read and evaluate 15 applications. We estimate review time will take 5 – 6 hours.
