Sue Lawrence

Sue seeks to build support for Jeannette Rankin Fund’s program so that women from across the United States have opportunities to succeed through education. Sue has led growth at the organization since she joined the staff in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Wayne State University and her master’s degree from Syracuse University. She received a 2003 Chamber Champion Award, was the 2005 Chair of the Women In Business Council, and is a graduate of LEAD Athens. She is the 2007 recipient of the Athena Award, an international recognition for leadership and service to help women achieve their full potential. Sue is involved in community service organizations that work to break the cycle of poverty.
