Criminal Justice

Pamela is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and will continue on to law school. A single mother of three, including a daughter with Sickle Cell Anemia, she is proud of being able to set a positive example for her children. Pamela volunteered as a court advocate at a shelter for survivors of domestic violence for several years and currently speaks on legislation as a member of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill. Due to her own life experiences, she feels a duty to protect the rights of women and girls. “I believe I can make a difference by providing justice in an unjust world,” she says. “Many times our justice falls through the cracks, and I find that a heart-breaking travesty. My ultimate life-long goal is to continue working towards my vision of justice for all.”
