Early Childhood Education

Jacqueline of Georgia is pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education in order to better serve children in her community. Jacqueline already volunteers as a visual arts instructor at a local community center for low-income families and she was recently asked to design a reading room at the center with funding awarded by the Ben Carson Foundation. She says,

Jacqueline intends to complete a Bachelor’s degree program before opening a Community Cultural Arts Center to serve low-income families. She credits JRF for motivating her to work harder, saying, “returning to school has ignited a fire within me and receiving the JRF scholarship has fueled the flames in a major way.”
